Philippines, March 21, 2024 — Versatech International, a leading full-service AV/ICT and unified communications distributor in the Philippines, teamed up with Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation (SEPCO), a global leader in the display industry, to set up a command center at the first Samsung Business Expo in the Philippines.
Samsung held its first-ever Business Expo in the Philippines at the Marriott Grand Ballroom to strengthen digital business transformations across various sectors. Their showcase, ‘Innovations That Power Solutions,’ exhibited Samsung’s professional display solutions and the positive impact these technologies bring for business growth and infrastructure in education, government, hospitality, manufacturing, and retail. The Samsung team is enthusiastic about the many opportunities their technology will bring across the country.
“The Business Expo is our concrete commitment to support the nation-building agenda of strengthening our government agencies and various business sectors to continue the country’s momentum of growth,” remarked Samsung Electronics Philippines (SEPCO) President Min Su Chu, who opened the event.
At the Marriot Grand Ballroom in Pasay City, Versatech International showcased their expertise by setting up a Samsung-powered command center. This command center featured advanced surveillance capabilities using Samsung’s government technology solutions for security, productivity, and operations. Key to the setup was ‘The Wall,’ a 130-inch premium MicroLED screen designed for enhanced visual efficiency in control rooms, which debuted at Versatech International’s ALVA Experience Center in November 2023.
Keynote speakers discussed “The Era of Connected Experiences,” followed by sessions on “Strategic Transformation: Leading Enterprises Evolving Into Intelligent Organizations” and “AI for Business: Advanced Connectivity Through SmartThings.” The highlight of the Business Expo was the “Innovations Showcase,” where Samsung presented their B2B innovations for 2024. Guests experienced first-hand display technology tailored for quick-service restaurants, corporate boardrooms, hotel lobbies, and command centers. A Samsung-powered command center features advanced surveillance capabilities thanks to Samsung’s government technology solutions for endpoint security, workforce productivity, and tactical operations.
